Mark and Rachel Parker and their children are 5th and 6th generation farmers on Park Family Farmstead, celebrating 156 years, located in the northwest corner of Richland County.
They operate a diversified certified organic farm. We will tour their grazing and organic cropping system, and you will meet some of their dairy cows, beef, sheep, chickens, and livestock guardian dogs.
Along the way, they’ll share some of the other conservation practices on their farm, such as forest management, runoff prevention, solar, and nutrient management.
