Cost: $10.00 per child.
Includes all class supplies.
Maximum cost per family = $30.00
Parents/guardians are welcome,
but not required, to stay during the event.

Youth in 5K Through 2nd Grade
Farm-themed activities:
- Make your own butter!
- Create barnyard slime!
- Play “Farmer Says!”
Youth in 3rd–8th grade attend three sessions.

Is it Real… Or is it Chalk Art? – Learn awesome tricks from local artists who will show you how to draw three‑dimensional chalk art that looks so real, people will think they can reach out and touch it.
A Plant on the Windowsill – Dig in and learn about houseplants. Tips for caring for your plants. Select a house plant to take home!
Blast Off with Rockets – Come explore the science behind rockets. Build a model rocket and launch it! (If weather permits)
Yo Yo Skillz – Want to learn cool yo-yo tricks? Discover how to throw a sleeper…walk the dog…and if you dare, try the man on the flying trapeze.
Photo Detectives – Every click of the camera turns ordinary scenes into extraordinary stories. Learn to capture the world through your own imaginative lens. Bring a phone with a camera.
Step into the Future of Creativity! – Discover how 3-D printers bring imagination to life. Whether you’re a tech enthusiast, a maker at heart, or just curious about how things are made, 3-D printing can turn your ideas into real, tangible objects!
Marvelous Mixtures – Get ready to mix, squish and stretch as you make your own fun putty. Watch glitter swirl and float as you design a dazzling lava lamp.
Checkmate – Jump into the world of chess, where you get to outsmart your friends using knights, queens, and sneaky strategies! No previous chess experience needed.
Toys & Treats for Furry Friends – During this tail‑wagging, purr‑fectly fun workshop, you will make homemade toys and tasty treats for your dog or cat!
Garden Quest: Adventures in Growing – Get your hands dirty as you explore how soil, water, and sunlight work together to help your plants grow strong and healthy!
Candy Creations – Step into the sweet world of candy making, where simple ingredients turn into tasty treats.
Bubble Lab: The Science of Soap – Melt, pour, and mold your very own soaps while learning the science behind the craft. Create awesome soaps you can use or share!
Do You Want to be a Veterinarian? – Learn from local vet and discover what it takes to turn your love of animals into an amazing career!
Be a Wildlife Detective – Can you identify animal signs and solve the mystery of what animal left them behind? Clues may include animal tracks, pelts, homes and other signs that the animals left behind.
Become a Super-Solver! – Do you know the secrets of the Rubik’s Cube? Discover cool tricks that make the cube snap into place like magic! Rubik’s cube will be provided.
Hit the Target – From archery to BB guns, learn about safe handling of equipment and opportunities available through the Richland Youth Shooting Sports program.
Mosaic Masterpiece – Dive into a colorful art adventure where you design your own masterpiece piece by piece.
Hop into the World of Rabbits – Join us as we learn about these curious, twitch‑nosed creatures from the 4-H Rabbits R Us group.
The Art of Paper Folding – A single sheet of paper can be transformed amazing creations! Learn easy folding techniques and follow step‑by‑step directions as you turn paper into art!
Flowers & Bows – Discover the fun of flower arranging, then get crafty and make a fancy bow to add the perfect finishing touch to your creation.
Discover Dairy – Dive into the world of dairy as we experiment with transforming milk into a variety of tasty products with lots of hands‑on activities!
YQCA & Livestock Judging – Richland County Fair exhibitors can earn education points by attending the Youth for the Quality Care of Animals (YQCA) workshop. Learn the basics of livestock judging. (Double session) Pre-registration required at: https://go.wisc.edu/4fc7zb
