9:00 am – Tour
10:00 am – Work
11:00 am – Lunch
Optional: Stay after lunch for more work time
Why it matters:
This work helps establish a native plant prairie, providing a habitat for many creatures. It also slows down runoff and minimizes erosion to keep our land and water healthy.
What to bring:
– Bag Lunch
– Water
– Chair (if preferred for lunch seating)
– Long sleeve shirt, pants, hat
– Working gloves *
– Trenching spade or shovel *
*If you have them, extras available
Refreshments provided: We’ll have water, soda, and cookies!
Where to go: Muscoda – ⅛ mile north of highway 60 on highway 193. Park along the road.
Weather Plan: We will reschedule in the event of rain.
